OJ Simpson

It’s a story told countless times – star athlete has a great career, wins over the hearts of countless fans with incredible performances, and when it’s time to hang it up, they ride off into the sunset.  Until they pop up in the news a few years later for something like a DUI arrest, or a good ‘ole fashioned assault charge.  You see the mugshot and cringe, only remembering the glory days and what it had become.  The show subject of this episode not only told that tale, but has taken that story to a whole new level.  OJ Simpson stamped the history books of American culture when he led police on that low speed chase in the white Bronco that was watched by almost 100 million people.  But that wasn’t the incident that put him behind bars.  The wild and crazy tale of one of America’s athletic heroes has been told many times, so we’ll give it our best shot in this episode of AHC Podcast.

Hilaria Baldwin

We’ve covered multiple adult liars over the years in our courtroom, but this show’s subject just may take the cake.  It’s one thing to tell a little white lie that hurts no one, but to completely create a new personality for yourself, accent and all, is just weird.  Hilaria Baldwin apparently has done just that, and it appears as though she’s going to pull it off.   What would you do if your best friend just started talking with an accent one day?  Besides wondering if they smell burnt hair and may be having a stroke, most will quickly shut that down or find a new friend.  How did she go from New Englander to Spanish hottie?  Does she have family in Spain, or is it just a cool place to visit?  And we gotta know, what is it like to be married to a Baldwin brother?  We’ll dive into all this and more in this episode of AHC Podcast.

Andrew Tate

Everyone’s life leads itself down a different path.  If we look back at some of the decisions we’ve made along the way, it seems as though we all play our own game of Choose Your Own Adventure.  The subject of today’s show had so many different options after a successful career, the possibilities seemed endless.  While the route taken may have led to fortune and fame, Andrew Tate’s stint as America’s Bad Boy may be coming to an end sooner than he had anticipated.  How did this guy become the most searched person on the internet over the summer?  Why are Karen’s around the world uniting to cancel the former kickboxer?  We’ll dive into these questions and more in the Andrew “Cobra” Tate episode of AHC Podcast.

Andrew Jackson

It’s 2022, and as a society we are in full swing to “cancel” many historical figures.  There is a lot of merit to most, some could be viewed as questionable, but it hasn’t been a good run lately for some of the folks we read about in our history books.  This episode’s subject is no different, the slave-owning, face of the twenty himself, Andrew Jackson.  Depending on which side of the aisle you sat on, you either held him in high regard, or wanted to see him held high and dropped on his head.  But was Jackson as evil a dude as he’s been made out to be?  Were you safe to leave him alone with your girlfriend?  And who decided that haircut was a good idea?  We’ll dive into these questions and more in the Andrew Jackson episode of AHC Podcast.

Pablo Escobar

Paul Revere and the Ride, Henry Ford and the assembly line, Lee Harvey Oswald and JFK, Monica Lewinsky and cigars…. All famous names in history and the automatic associations we have with them when we bring up their name in thought or conversation.  Now the subject or today’s show, Pablo Escobar, whoop, yep, there it is – cocaine, is definitely another one of those names.  Pablo came from nothing in the streets of Medellin, to become the head of one of the largest drug cartels in the world.  In his prime, he was in the top 10 list of Forbes most wealthy people in the world and responsible for about 80% of the cocaine in the United States.  But as most would suspect, things did not end well.  But was all the violence around the cartel at the hands of Pablo?  Was he the one ordering the murders of cops and competition, or was this a plan by his employees?  How much money can a rat eat in one year?  We’ll dive into this and much more in the Pablo Escobar episode of AHC Podcast.

Rudy Giuliani

America is a beautiful place of second chances and limitless opportunity.  It’s also a place that will point and laugh as you publicly fall from grace and will talk trash about you the whole way down.  That brings us to the subject of today’s show, Rudy Giuliani.  Giuliani started at the bottom and worked his way to some of the most prestigious offices within the legal system of New York City, eventually becoming mayor.  Rudy was the darling of New York, people admired his work and it seemed he could do no wrong.  But over time, Rudy faded from the spotlight as most politicians do… until he reappeared, with crazy eyes, melting hair, and lots to say.  As Donald Trump’s personal attorney, Giuliani was at the forefront of the 2020 election and the aftermath.  Was there one certain event that took Giuliani from public darling to the butt of jokes?  Was that really his fake hair melting?  Who set up that infamous press conference at the Four Seasons Landscaping Company?  We’ll dive into these questions and more in the Rudy Giuliani episode of AHC Podcast.

Fred Durst

At one point or another, everyone has an encounter with a “cool guy”.  You know who I’m talking about – over the top laughter, outlandish clothing, the center of attention always… yeah, that guy.  Fred Durst was the epitome of the cool guy in the late 90’s and early 2000’s.  He and his band, Limp Bizkit, were the hottest thing in music for about a 4-year stretch, until the sheen seemed to wear off.  In fairly short order, Durst began to be the butt of jokes, Limp Bizkit went on hiatus, and it all kinda came to an end.  But was the character we all got to know as Fred Durst, really the person Fred Durst?  If he knew how to build a brand, capitalize on everything he could, knowing it wouldn’t last forever, would you still think he’s a d-bag?  Let’s rip into it with a f*n chainsaw in the Limp Bizkit episode of AHC Podcast.

Shia LaBeouf

Hulk Hogan

The 80’s and 90’s were some wild times in the professional wrestling world, and let me tell you something brother, the subject of today’s show was right in the middle of it.  Hulk Hogan was the face of the WWE during it’s meteoric rise and has continued to stay in the spotlight 30 years later.  With that one of a kind haircut, that super cool mustache, and that permanently tanned, leather skin, the Hulkster’s image and personality are easy to like, but there have been some stories that have come up over the years that test the immortality of the Real American intro man.  Is it true that the Hulkster stepped on people on his way to the top?  Do you need to keep an eye on your wife if he’s your buddy?  Or is he perhaps misunderstood, after living in the crazy world of pro wrestling for so long, that he’s making his way back to normality?  We’ll dive into these questions and more on this episode of AHC Podcast.

Mike Tyson

Professional fighters have a propensity to live very interesting lives outside the ring.  Think about it, they are performing one of the most primal, basic, human acts, but yet, because they the best in the world at getting the best of someone in a physical altercation, they are rewarded like kings as young adults.  Fast cars, multiple houses, paying all the bills for an entourage of people, and gold chains that would make Mr. T jealous, it’s easy to see how some of these young fighters go broke.  But, it’s much harder to understand how someone with a legendary status in boxing, today’s show subject, Mike Tyson, could wind up as another story of an athlete gone broke.  We’ve all heard the stories about the former “baddest man on the planet”, from his insane knockouts to insane antics both inside and outside the ring.  It’s landed him in jail a couple times, cost him multiple marriages, and seen his boxing career come to an end, but he’s still a relevant name after 35 years since his career began.  What could have been the catalyst to some of the issues we would see down the road in his life?  Was he truly guilty for all the things he has been accused of?  Did he really want to eat people’s children?  We’ll dive into these questions and more in this episode of AHC Podcast.

Since the dawn of time, civilizations have had stories of mythical and other non-human creatures passed down over generations.  As time evolved, many of these stories became quite believable and found their way into popular culture.  The most famous of these characters is in the courtroom today as we ask the question, is Bigfoot real?  Over the past 100 years or so, Bigfoot sightings have been frequent and fairly consistent.  Organizations have dedicated lots of time and resources to prove the notion that what most perceive as a hoax, is in fact, very real.  But why have we never found a Bigfoot body?  Why don't we find their bones like we do other animals that die?  Was Harry and the Henderson's based on a true story?  We'll dive in to this and much more on this episode of Conspiracy Court.

I guess dreams can come true.  If you ask any 20-year-old dude what their dream job would be, odds are, porn star would be near the top.  The adult film industry has graced us with some stars that have reached pop culture status, but probably none more famous than today’s show subject, Ron Jeremy.  “The Hedgehog” has starred in over 2000 adult films and even made his way into movies and TV shows.  On the surface he seems to be likeable, funny, ugly, and not afraid to poke a little fun at himself.  But recent developments have shown a different light on the “Super Hornio Brothers” star.  If you get paid all day to have sex, would you have to have to take advantage of more vulnerable targets to get your kicks?  How much sex does one person have to have to be satisfied?  We’ll dive into this and much more on the Ron Jeremy, and quite fitting, 69^th episode of AHC Podcast.

Oprah Winfrey

The one-name celebrity club is a difficult thing to achieve.  Voltaire, Pele, Bono, Snoopy… the level of global fame you have to accomplish to get to the one-name club is limited to very few.  Oprah Winfrey, or as most call her, Oprah, rose from a troubled childhood to become one of the world’s most well-known celebrities.  Her charity work and good deeds have helped hundreds, if not thousands of people.  But does no good deed go unpunished?  Have Oprah’s charities actually hurt people, instead of help them?  Did she really dodge being a potential crack head?  We’ll dive into this and more in this episode of AHC Podcast.

Mel Gibson

We have all wished that our favorite characters in movies or shows was a real person.  I mean, who wouldn’t want to sit down to a plate of pasta and a glass of cabernet with Tony Soprano?  But as the saying goes, sometimes you don’t want to meet your heroes.  Mel Gibson has been making some of the biggest movies in the world for the last 30 plus years.  He’s played some characters that you would want to hang out with, but from what we’ve seen over the past few years, not sure you would want to hang out with the man himself.  But is it fair to judge someone’s career and life over a couple bad interactions?  Or does the truth of what he really thinks seem to come out after a few too many cocktails?  We’ll dive into these questions and more on this episode of AHC Podcast.

Vladimir Putin

He’s one of the most recognized people in the world and perhaps for all the wrong reasons.  Vladimir Putin rose through the ranks of the KGB during the Soviet era, and then quickly shot up the ladder of the Russian government to become its President.  He’s currently invading neighboring country, Ukraine, and the world seems to have had about enough of his crap.  Putin has never been cast as an angel, but with his record of humanitarian issues, corruption, and power-hungry decisions, he seems to be fitting the bill quite nicely as a devil.  What could have happened in his life to cause him to turn out the way he has?  What could be at the root of his desire to punish those who don’t see eye to eye with him?  We’ll dive into this and much more in this episode of AHC Podcast.

Michael Jordan

To be the greatest of all time at anything requires hard work, dedication, and usually a little bit of luck. But keep in mind, not every GOAT is sports related.  Technically, there is a greatest TV watcher of all time… But the subject of today’s show is no couch potato.  He’s been on the cover of magazines, cereal boxes, and posters hanging on the wall of most guys who grew up in the 90’s – the one and only, his Airness, Michael Jordan.  Jordan changed the landscape of the NBA once he got in the league.  Winning world championships, slam dunk contests, and generally making the competition look like amateurs when he was in his prime.  But the stories that have come to light over the years don’t paint a picture of Jordan being the best teammate.  He defended his position in the recent documentary, The Last Dance, but did we hear all the stories?  What could MJ have done to land him in the courtroom today?  Come fly with me as we roll through the Michael Jordan episode of AHC Podcast.

Dan Bilzerian

What makes a man a REAL man? What does a REAL man look like? For some people, the  Instagram King, Dan Bilzerian is the poster-child of masculinity and REAL manliness. He’s built like a brick sh*t house, has a wicked-thick beard, plays poker for a living, has more money than Davey Crockett, and bangs models by the boatload. 

But is the social media representation of Bilzerian accurate? On this latest episode, we dig in and try to find out what the real story is. And of course, we rate how much of an asshole he is.

Kid Rock

We’ve seen a number of musical artists switch genres throughout their career.  Taylor Swift went from country to pop, Darius Rucker went from being Hootie to having a successful country career, and did you know Michael Bolton once opened for Ozzy Osbourne?  Well, the subject of today’s show has also run the gamut of several different styles of music… Kid Rock.  Starting out as a rapper, moving to rock, and now more of a country musician, Kid Rock has been killing it on stage for over 20 years.  He’s not only been in the news for his talented performances, but recently, there’s been some stories that don’t paint the rocker in the best light.  Is Kid Rock simply misunderstood, or are there some racist undertones in his actions?  Did he really go from the trailer park to the limelight?  We’ll dive into these questions and much more on this episode of AHC Podcast.

Steve Jobs

Think Different.  That seems to be the secret sauce for many of the ultra-successful. Just like that Big Mac sauce that we all love, but will never admit to, the recipe of today’s show subject has also reached global fame.  Steve Jobs came from very humble beginnings but wound up being the face for one of the biggest companies in the world.  If you go into any trendy coffee shop, you’re bound to see the full assortment of products that Jobs created, and to be honest, it’s quite impressive.  But, was he the true mastermind behind Apple?  Did his management tactics start a very negative trend in the business world?  Did the black turtleneck bring magical powers?  We’ll dive into this and a whole lot more on this episode of AHC Podcast.

Dr. Phil

Daytime TV – it’s a subject we’ve broached a couple times on AHC Podcast, but this episode is about one of the heavy hitters of the afternoon antics.  Dr. Phil has been on our TV’s for over 20 years and has made a name for himself for a number of reasons.  In the beginning, it seemed he was all for helping couples in need, a troubled teen, or a drug addict looking for help.  As time wore on, the show topics got wilder and tales of potential exploitation have clouded the once clear image.  But is Dr. Phil really out to expose people in their darkest hour, or is he really looking to offer a helping hand to those that could use it?  We’ll dive into this and much, much more on this episode of AHC Podcast.
